The Notre Dame Academy community is devastated by the images of Notre Dame Cathedral engulfed in flames. The deep connection we have with France, the birthplace of our foundress, St. Marguerite Bourgeoys, coupled with the connection of our mutual dedication to "Our Lady" has prompted us to take action.
We have established a Notre Dame Cathedral Restoration Fund from now until the Feast of the Visitation (May 31st) to allow those in our community whose thoughts and prayers are with the people of Paris to take immediate action to ensure that the architectural beauty and history of the Cathedral survives.
