Daily Prayer - Week of March 30, 2020

Prayer for Friday, April 3, 2020

Today's prayer comes from Deanna Albano '21
God,  Thank you for continuing to bless us each day with beautiful weather and nature, even with this worldwide crisis. We pray that our families and everyone around us stays safe throughout these trying times.

Let this crisis help us realize what we are taking for granted, everyday. Let these times strengthen us as human beings, and allow us to all come together and help each other out.

Let us keep each other in our prayers and let our faith in you, God, be stronger than our fears and anxiety.

We pray to be back to school and normal daily activities soon.

Amen.

Our Lady and St. Marguerite be with us today.

Prayer for Thursday, April 2, 2020

Be lovers of peace, the most precious treasure that anyone can desire.

You are already aware that our sins drive God to anger, so you must repent of them, that God in his mercy may spare you.

What people conceal is open to God. Turn to him with a sincere heart. Live in such a way that you bring upon yourselves the blessing of God, and that the peace of God our Father may be with you always.

From the letters of St. Francis di Paola

Prayer for Wednesday, April 1, 2020

Today's prayer comes from Isabella Cavallone '21

Dear God, on this day, guide us away from doing foolish things that will keep us from reaching our full potential.

Help us to not fall into any foolishness portrayed by others, but to use our heads wisely.

Help us to think before we speak and not say whatever comes to mind. Especially in these difficult times, help us to trust in You.

Amen.

Our Lady and St. Marguerite, pray for us.

Prayer for Tuesday, March 30, 2020

Prayer from the Vatican

O Mary, you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and of hope. We entrust ourselves to you, health of the sick, who at the cross took part in Jesus’ pain, keeping your faith firm.

You, salvation of the Roman people, know what we need, and we are sure you will provide so that, as in Cana of Galilee, we may return to joy and to feasting after this time of trial.

Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of God, our Father and to do as Jesus has shown –as He took upon Himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows to lead us – through the Cross – to the joy of Resurrection.

Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God. Answer the pleas of us in our trial, and deliver us from ever danger, O Glorious and Blessed Virgin.

Amen.

Prayer for Monday, March 30, 2020

When I find myself in times of trouble,

Mother Mary comes to me

Speaking words of wisdom.

And in my hour of darkness,

She is standing right in front of me

Speaking words of wisdom.

And when the broken hearted people

Living in the world agree,

There will be an answer, let it be.

For though they may be parted,

There is still a chance that they will see

There will be an answer.

And when the night is cloudy

There is still a light that shines on me

Shine until tomorrow, let it be.

I wake up to the sound of music,

Mother Mary comes to me

Speaking words of wisdom.

Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.
