Daily Prayer - Week of May 26

Prayer for Thursday, May 28, 2020

Dear God,

Thank You for being with us during this time of crisis when we need You the most. Thank You for the constant reminder that You are watching over us and helping us through our struggles.

We follow You, trust in You and confide in You. As the sun rises may Your hope and love rise up in us. If we ever lose hope, lead us back to You to be guided.

Our Lady and St. Marguerite - Pray for us. Amen.

Prayer for Wednesday, May 27, 2020

Dear God, as the summer weather starts blooming, we begin to truly feel your presence in this dark time – radiating light to all of us. From this time, we begin to take a moment, step back, and realize what is truly important. Thank you for opening up our eyes because some of us were blinded.

We promise to take care of and take more advantage of the beautiful world You so beautifully created. We never fully understood the importance and beauty of nature until this dark time, yet it helps to keep us hopeful. We wake up in the morning and have a positive attitude because of this alluring and beautiful nature. The exquisite flowers, beautiful trees, and fertile grass are what is important in life. not cell phones, TVs, computers, or any kinds of technology.

Thank you, God for reaching out to us making us realize what life is really about.

We will take very special care of the earth you have left us.

Amen.

Prayer for Tuesday, May 26, 2020

On this day of Remembrance of our Veterans, we pray for all those Generous and Courageous men and women who have given their lives for us to have Peace. For those who gave their lives in wars large and small, those who fought at home and abroad in so many countries, and for those, too, who have given their lives in service in our cities as firefighters and police.

May they now rest in the Peace of Your glorious presence. Bless, too, Lord, those who have courageously fought battles here, against this terrible virus, those who left their homes and families to care for others in the MANY ministries that have served us. Bless their families and friends and co-workers who mourn them. You have given us many blessings, Lord, we thank You today for THESE, Your beautiful children.

May Mary and St. Marguerite continue us to help us to be as brave as they were.

Amen.
