Rebecca Hennessy

“Throughout my ten years as an English teacher at NDA, it has been a privilege to share my love of literature with my students.”

 Ms. Hennessy studied English and History as an undergraduate at St. John’s University, and went on to earn a Master of Arts in English and a Master of Science in Adolescence Education, both from The College of Staten, CUNY.  As an educator, her goal is to encourage her students to cultivate their own independent voices as readers, writers, and thinkers as they grow into women of transforming leadership. As moderator of both Creative Writing Club and Student Government, Ms. Hennessy is proud to help students lead activities and events that make NDA such a special place.
