Meaghan O'Brien

Meaghan O’Brien is a proud alumna of Notre Dame Academy, having attended both the grammar school and high school.  After Notre Dame Academy, she attended Villanova University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Mrs. O’Brien later earned an MBA in Marketing Management from Fordham University. Her prior career in the financial services industry focused on Client Service and Marketing at various firms, including Citigroup, J.P. Morgan, and OppenheimerFunds.

Mrs. O’Brien is thrilled to be back at Notre Dame Academy, now as a teacher of A.P. Government and Politics, U.S. Government, College Economics, and Theology 9. She also serves as Eucharistic Minister and as a chaperone for various enrichment trips to Europe. In addition to her work as an educator at Notre Dame Academy, she is dedicated to furthering the lives of our most precious resource - our children - through her work as a Girl Scout volunteer and by serving on the board of the Children's Harbor Montessori School on Staten Island.

Mrs. O’Brien lives nearby on Grymes Hill with her husband, Michael, and her children Luke and Madeline (who is following in her footsteps as a third-grader at NDA!)
