First Annual Legacy Breakfast
On September 13th, Notre Dame Academy hosted their second annual Legacy Breakfast highlighting the tradition of the school. The school focuses on providing liberating education through both their elementary school and their high school for 115 years. In light of this tradition and excellence, many alumnae come back to the school both to work and also to send their daughters. This annual event highlights the tradition of excellence at Notre Dame Academy by inviting the alumnae who send their daughters' to our school to celebrate with us. We hosted the moms at our back to school mass and a breakfast in the arts and humanities building. "Last year was our first legacy breakfast and it went so well we decided to make it an annual tradition." said Killian Clifford, head of Mission Advancement and an alumna of Notre Dame Academy. The school counts among its staff and teachers several alumnae, including elementary school and high school principals Rebecca Giaccio and Kate Jaenicke, respectively. Last year, in fact, Principal Jaenicke attended the legacy breakfast with her daughter who was a senior at the high school. Each mom in attendance got a pin to mimic her class ring to wear to all Notre Dame Academy events to highlight their alumnae status.
