Students in the American Sign Language club have signed at many events over the course of its years in existence at NDA, including special Masses and the NDA International night. Throughout the course of the year, various guest speakers are invited to NDA to teach students ASL and educate them on deaf etiquette.
Students develop empathy as they learn about challenges faced in both the domestic and wildlife communities and foster awareness of general animal rights issues.  Additionally they help support local and national organizations such as the Staten Island Zoo, veterinary hospitals, the ASPCA, and the WWF.
The Art Club provides students the opportunity for an artistic outlet. The club meets to complete many different types of art including: painting, pottery, photography, and drawing.
Asian Culture Club demonstrates the values of diversity and unity of today’s society through various activities, movies, and adventures. Each month of the year is designed to portray a unique aspect of Asia’s countries and talents.
The Baking Club members bake up tasty treats in the school kitchen for our local nursing home, Project Hospitality and, of course, our students!
The Book Club offers students the opportunity to choose the books that they want to read and discuss, to cultivate empathy as they delve into the situations presented in the chosen works, and to enjoy the pleasure of reading with each other. 
BC2M’s mission is to remove the stigma surrounding mental health issues and to raise 
awareness about pertinent issues within the school community and to promote activities which support student mental health.  
Reach out to the community by volunteering your time at Project Hospitality, Habitat for Humanity, Silver Lake Nursing Home and more. Be the change that you wish to see in the world!
Career Chat is a club that was created to help the students of NDA begin their path in choosing a profession. Career Chat establishes college and career preparedness and readiness to aid the students of NDA in their future choices.
Members express themselves through poetry and short essays in Creative Writing Club.
Criminology club explores multiple facets of criminology including the basics of profiling, techniques used by crime scene investigators, the role of forensic science in solving crime, and the fundamentals of criminal justice and criminal law.
Fashion Club's mission is to inspire each student by guiding them to embrace their creativity and love of fashion. We are individuals interested in makeup, modeling, fashion design, set design, clothing and careers in the fashion industry. Each student is able to share their ideas and critiques about current fashion trends. Together, we enjoy debating runway and red carpet looks and embrace each member's views and perspectives.
Our film club is focused on vintage films. These films are from the 1930s and 1940s. They feature strong female leads. Although the club is meant to be fun, students discuss issues raised by the film and connections with today. Popcorn provided!
Forensics provides students with the opportunity to practice their research, speech writing and public speaking skills. Team members compete locally and nationally in the National Forensic League and in the Nation Catholic Forensic League. Students also attend university-sponsored competitions at Princeton, Columbia, Yale, Harvard and St. Joseph’s University. The opportunity to practice is offered several times a week, and competitions are weekly when the season begins. Notre Dame Academy has proudly sent several students all the way to Nationals for the past several years.
The French Club ensures that the school remembers its French roots while imparting valuable international knowledge to students. The club has connections with the French Embassy, celebrates French Week, and collaborates with Notre Data on the French section. C'est magnifique!
All students are welcome to join this supportive environment of peers and role models and learn to see themselves as computer scientists. Beyond the club, girls can tap into an alumnae network of tens of thousands of girls across the country who are using computer science to solve problems they care about.
Glamour Gals provide time, attention, and fun to our local nursing home residents. Students and residents bond over their shared love of all things glamorous!
Good Morning, Gators! is NDA’s weekly news and events broadcast which airs on campus every Friday.  Students receive professional training which allows for hands-on experience producing a weekly news broadcast. Students control the entire broadcast. They write the scripts, design the graphics, film the segments and edit the episodes which are then published to a wide and meaningful audience. Many segments are filmed in our brand new broadcast studio on campus.
Green Angels centers on all aspects of environmentalism. Conservation, recycling and upcycling are all a part of their plan to make NDA more environmentally conscious. Go Green!
Our Health Club meets at the center of our Campus to grow and cultivate herbs, vegetables, fruits and more. Featured on NY1 as “Staten Islanders of the Week” for their outstanding work on our community garden, the Health Club harvests its own produce to donate to Project Hospitality and other charitable organizations.
Interact members work to become a generation of leaders to serve others. The club provides service, helps those who are in need of aid, and volunteers in the community.
The members of the Italian & Greek Club learn about Italian & Greek cultures through various activities such as baking, music, and games. Members have open discussions, sharing their own personal family traditions and creating new ones as a club.
At My Sister's Keeper, we're dedicated to fostering gender equity, empowering girls and young women and creating opportunities for them to shape their own destinies. Through collaborative sisterhood, we work towards a future where every individual reaches their full potential, enriching the community that shapes us all.
Leadership, character, scholarship, and service are the four characteristics of the National Honor Society. NHS members work in a variety of ways including peer tutoring and charity fundraising.
The staff of Nostra, the school yearbook, works continuously to capture and compile the past and present. Their publication becomes the memory of a class and is distributed to be forever cherished by all students.
Notre Data, the school newspaper, is published quarterly by a team of student reporters. The newspaper coverage includes school sports, editorials, reports, mind teasers, and cartoons.
Open to the entire student body, the Literary Art Journal allows students to submit original art and writing works to be published in the finalized journal. Members play a key role in choosing the work to include and putting together the final project. The goal of Novus Notabilis is to provide talented artists and writers of NDA with an audience for their work so they may showcase their talent and find their voice through artistic expression.
Students develop (pun intended!) digital photography skills through hands-on learning and create art out of real life images.
Science Club members meet to experiment and problem solve. Learn to make lava lamps, snow globes and more!
The Shakespeare Club at Notre Dame Academy celebrates the life and work of William Shakespeare.  Members participate in the English-Speaking Union’s annual Shakespeare competition, wherein students memorize, interpret, and perform Shakespeare’s monologues and sonnets.  The club also organizes several Shakespeare related activities throughout the year.
She’s The First is an international organization designed to assist girls and young women reach their full potential. The emphasis is on learning how to speak up for one’s self and ensure that all voices are heard and respected. Here at NDA, we discuss issues of discrimination and double standards that our young women encounter, with an eye towards problem solving.
The Spanish Club celebrates Spanish culture and heritage with authentic Spanish food, celebrations, and other activities.
The Special Olympics Club volunteers at various events throughout the course of the year sponsored by the Special Olympics of New York. The largest event that our students participate in each year is the Polar Plunge, raising thousands of dollars to donate to this organization helping people with intellectual disabilities.
The Stage crew is the backbone of the High School Drama Department. The members are involved in design, scenic paint, program lights, sound, costumes, and sets in order to ensure the performances run smoothly.
The Student Government is the representative assembly of the student body. Members are elected for one-year terms and work to represent the interests and needs of the student body and off-campus community through many school spirit and charity events.
